Light has been shed in my dining room. The two and a half years of eating under an old, dimly lit flush mount has finally come to an end. They say to always take your time when choosing items for the home and for me, I just couldn’t find the right chandelier for the space.
I was so happy when I found this one on Overstock. Even better, it was on an amazing sale over the holiday. With a quick picture text to my mom for backup, she told me that it had my name written all over it. With that, I promptly hit the Place Order button, and it was mine.
On a side note – a strange thing happened the night it was delivered. It was three days before Christmas and I was sitting on my couch in my robe. I heard the UPS truck pull up and waited for the knock on the door. As the driver handed me the box, he said that his partner fell and was laying on my driveway. To make a long story short, the poor man fell and hit his head, was totally out of it, the ambulance and police were on their way, and I was still in my robe, Uggs and parka talking to the nice driver in front of my house. Lights were flashing and sirens were blaring. Nothing like a little action on a Friday night.
